“You have no idea.†Dexon mouthed back to Shadow, as Tav had her miniature breakdown. He’d always know that Tav’s loyalties were, at best, split down the middle between her own self preservation and who ever was pulling her strings. Or, perhaps more perfectly, pulling the chain still wrapped around her ankle just above that gaudy slave brand. Dexon had know many people, from the lucky and bashful, to the petty and mean: and slaves tended to either become vengeful maniacs or remained slaves.
A slave who choose to wear their bonds instead of using them to choke the life out of their former masters.
He returned his attention to the group of high society fobs and debutants who seemed to fall into two camps: the genuinely terrified and the stupidly excited. Hell this was probably the most exciting thing to happen to any of them all year. It would probably be the talk of the party season, with every ball and function having to up the last one for its thuggery.
Great: Dexon had just created a fashion.
“As I was saying, gentles all!†he boomed in his most dramatic theatrically baritone, adding just a hint of a Rim World accent to give him a barbarian drawl “This is a robbery of fine goods and delicate things. A business transaction if you will, no doubt some of you have taken part in a hostile takeover or two. Just think of me as the new CEO looking over the ledgers.â€
One of the aristocrats, a tall aged fell with a face a granite cliff would have found handsome, jutted his peninsula like chin towards Shadow. Who, in her defense, didn't have to look to far out of character to look threatening and not part of the scenery.
“And who, is she then?†he asked in a mocking tone.
“Public relations.†Dexon retorted, before levelling the hold out blaster at him and pulling the trigger. The fuzzy blue rings of a stun bolt leapt across the room and struck him centre mass, landing him on the floor and sending a ripple of panic through the assembled.
“Now! Put all your valuables onto the buffet table by the window in a orderly fashion, and my associates and I will be making our exit without to much yew and cry.†Dexon instructed. To his surprise the guests began to do just that, with many a hand going near the serving knives and leaving them be. Maybe they got robbed enough of the time that it was second hat to them.
“Now, Miss PR.†Dexon growled, and waved his gun in another theatrically showy move and pointed to Tav “Grab us a hostage so we can make our escape.â€
As this happened he moved over to stand next to her, and told her the plan as it stood. It wasn’t a great plan, it wasn’t even a good plan. in fact it was a terribly dangerous and more than likely going to end in blood shed plan, but compared to all other options it was the best one the table.
TAG-All, Mel look for a PM in your account about ‘The Plan’.

Re: Episode 2: My Kind Of Party
The Professor looked over the broken but working assemblage of parts that made up the timed detonator, its various sensory fronds weaving together into a more focused ‘eye’ like tendril.
“This one finds your work passable, but functional. The professor would highlight improvements if time were less pressing.†it intoned in that strange warbling voice that seemed to sound like a soggy Hutt with bad gas. It then turned, its gas bags deflating and shrinking slightly so that it bobbed just above the floor, and floated towards a seemingly sealed wall hatch. With delicate strokes of its tendrils the nuts and bolts holding the panel in place came free, revealing a maintenance crawl space beyond.
“This passage has been deleted from the Night Witch’s security monitoring software, and leads to the main bridge deck, the combat information centre, auxiliary bridge and the engine room. Which destination would you like this one to lead you to to better facilitate our escape?â€

“There will be a great deal of ‘advanced information retrieval’ in your future!†snapped the waspish voice of Commander Needa, though how a voice still slurred and foggy would ever sound waspish was an interesting question. The Imperial officer looked at the young urchin and with fevered eyes began to rant at him.
“You! Lad! You look like fine stock! Don’t trade away your future to these rebels! Kill the Twi’lek and I’ll see you rewarded! Lad like you would go far in the Emperors Navy!†Needa shrilly cried. The lad would go far, he thought, especially when he was kicked out of the airlock whilst in hyperspace.

"I'm sure 'this one' would have done better with a full tool bay, equipment list and about another four hours of prep time, but I've gotta say there, Squidley, passable and functional will do this close to the wire." Boomer gave The Professor a lopsided grin and stepped away instinctively. Nitrogen was silent but a deadly and effective killer.

Boomer turned to look at Harvey and shrugged. Tight quarters meant they were easier prey... but moving? They would be more difficult to completely immobilise or kill...
A lot of options went through her mind at that point. Main Bridge probably was well-guarded, full of Imperials, and quite probably the best place to make the worst entrance possible. A whisper of an evil grin passed over her face as she considered it a bit longer than she probably should have, but it would have been far too fun not to. Combat Info Centre... Slicer could do some major damage there, and they could set up the detonation sequence and also disable or confound the weapons' systems for the Night Witch. Engine Room might do if they wanted disable her.. but the Auxillary Bridge? Now... didn't that mean it had it all? And that they could take over the ship from those Main Bridge goombas without them even knowing?
"I'm going to suggest Auxilliary Bridge... but if you have another thought there, Harvey, please... let's see where we could get the biggest bang for our creds, shall we?"

Jarion shrugged.
"That c-c-could work out pretty well." He agreed, "Might be able to lock out the main bridge. Think we got any good l-l-luck left."

"Luck," Boomer all but spat out. "Sure, let's go with that."
Looking at The Professor, she shrugged. "Auxillary Bridge, and don't spare the Banthas..." But, as usual, there was... something....
"Is it me, Harvey, or do you have a bad feeling about this, too?"
