Episode 2: My Kind Of Party

"All Imperial warships are fitted with such codes, so that were the crew to mutiny the Commander or Political officer could commandeer the ships systems from a centrally located and secured position." it spoke, bobbing up and out of the crew pit and floating towards the other one "Once the code is entered all ship board systems will revert total control to this command centre. It will take the crew of the Night Witch many hours to cut through the blast doors, by which time many of them will have suffocated due to being deprived of atmosphere."

Boomer twisted her head sideways in inquiry at the empty space where a stuttering Harvey was expected to reside. "And what if our people made it aboard?" she asked off-handedly. 'Our people'... shit... she had already seemed to have adopted a team attitude. What the hell was wrong with her?

"The signal to detonate the explosive charges the Imperials placed on my other counterpart's is ready to be signalled from that station." It said flatly, as though blowing up 82 of its kin was about as emotionally taxing as a eating slice of pie. And good pie at that.

"I know the explosions are my forte... and there explosions aplenty to be set off behind us as well. This will be a huge conflagration of epic proportions, and you know, we might just make it through this..." She gave a short little harsh laugh. "Hope. What an odd sensation that is... like distateful sludge passing itself off as pie." She sighed deeply, her whole being resolved to whatever outcome there was going to be.

"Let me know, Harvey... When we're set up and all that shit. I can monitor the communications, at least partially." She shrugged. "Hope someone talks to us soon, or a whole spectrum of assumptions will be spread out from this point in a fire-filled plume of destruction." She smirked, as she was wont to do at times of great explosion. This was going to be beautifully deadly. And mortally beautiful. Putting her finger on the trigger of their own meagre offerings on the station, she waited as patiently as she could.

"Ready when you are..." If ready was a term to use at this juncture. Somehow it seemed less pomp and circumstance and more anti-climactic. Perhaps she was just giving the stage to the true stars of the show... the explosions...

"Whoa whoa whoa. S-s-settle down there professor." Jarion urged, "We still got people unaccounted for. We got no r-r-reason to jump the gun until they get here or an alarm goes off. We got some time to play with here. And I'm not blowing up t-t-those ships until I have to. I still got friends on that station."

The former padawan turned mercenary considered the options. "What about having our computer expert whoever that is take control of this ship, blast open the doors, take it out, go to hyperspace, and while we are in a secure place sealed off from any imperials aboard, we simply vent the ship of all oxygen either sucking them out or exploding their lungs to vacuum?" She looked at Tav, then back at the con artist. "Doesn't that sound better?"
